An off-shoot of the popular Cobalt platform of the company, the '07 Chevrolet HHR draws from the best features of the Cobalt, using its suspension, engine and transmission to provide a stable ride with good fuel efficiency.
Available in three variants, the 2007 Chevrolet HHR comes with a standard double-overhead cam V-4 Ecotec 2.2 liter engine that churns out an adequate 143 horsepower, but can be upgraded to a more powerful 2.4 liter V-4 172 horsepower version of the same engine for the 1LT and 2LT versions.
The 2007 Chevrolet HHR is a two wheel drive, and comes with a five speed manual transmission. A four-speed auto transmission is available as an option, as is the speed sensitive power steering. The cabin provides comfortable seating for five people with adequate legroom.
The 2LT comes with 17” alloy wheels and also features ABS and Satellite Radio. Traction control and side-curtain airbag options provide added safety.
